# Reviews Overview

## Overview

Reviews are human assessments of AI outputs, submitted by clinician reviewers.

## Review States

| State         | Description             |
| ------------- | ----------------------- |
| `pending`     | Awaiting assignment     |
| `assigned`    | Assigned to reviewer    |
| `in_progress` | Reviewer has started    |
| `completed`   | Review submitted        |
| `escalated`   | Needs additional review |
